Empty, accumulate, weigh and feed 45 bins per hour at a food processing plant to double its current production capacity.


project description

Each bin on the conveyors is managed in position in order to optimize the space used and the sequences of the plant’s automated logistics operations. The system also allows manual access to the bin for maintenance purposes.

The tailor-made design optimizes the use of space for bin accumulation, and also makes it possible to reach the exchange positions on three levels with the warehouse’s existing shuttle. The conveyor system increases the efficiency of the shuttles by preventing them from sharing the same workspace. The entire system is located in two automated security zones, with the exception of the manual access point to the bins for their maintenance.
